We loved our stay at Sandos. The property itself is a really nice size. We really liked the layout and the architecture of the buildings being built right into the side of the cliff. The views at the top were spectacular. We especially enjoyed our mornings outside the Cupcake coffee bar. Every restaurant was delicious and the service was top notch. Our days by the pool were nice an relaxing with good energy coming from the entertainment staff and the great playlists! It is definitely not a party resort like some of the other larger ones in the area, which for us we a great thing, but if I was younger and looking for a great night life, it would be dissapointing. We will definitely be back!

We loved our stay at Sandos! The staff, the food, drinks, very clean property - amazing view from our room! I can't say enough. When relaxing by the pool or beach there are always people around to make sure you have a drink in hand. Restaurant variety and quality of food, absolutely excellent. The hotel is very well kept despite it is not a nee propertu. Rooms are very spacy and well equiped. Food and wines at the restaurants of good quality. Perhaps more umbrellas at the pool area would be nice, since natural shadows are scant.

We've been coming in for several years and it never disappoints. The rooms are nice and clean and the staff is very helpful. They have several restaurants to choose from and food is available throughout the day. They have bars throughout the property and after a day or two, you'll figure out the schedule and get on a route. The property is right across the street from the marina if you want to do the touristy stuff.

I liked the old school Mexican charm of this resort, being built into the rocks. However it was spread out and long confusing walk from my room to the beach I would recommend upgrading to an ocean view room.. I felt like we got good service and enjoyed the poolside lunches. My biggest complaint is that the pool water was very murky and not clear.

Sandos Finesterra is a lovely resort in a beautiful setting. The staff works very hard to see the property is well kept. The rooms are a little outdated and the AC wasn’t keeping the room cool, even in March. Additionally the shower didn’t drain so basic amenities were lacking.

Room with great view to the Bay but pretty simple and no gratuity wine bottle. You cannot swim at the beach (open sea). Really disappointed with restaurants, there was no gourmet experience in any restaurant. Italian one sucks, no buffet for lunch and only the steak one during late afternoon was acceptable. Cocktails were poor, you cannot really feel good alcohol. I feel it was an expensive stay for the services provided. The coffee place was nice!

Loved everything about this resort. The staff were wonderful, the food was great and our room was much bigger than expected. My only complaint was that the couch and chairs were very old, worn and dirty. I did not want to sit down on them. I’m glad I did not have to use the couch as an extra bed because that would have been a problem.

Major issues with the front desk. To spare the long story, they had very little problem solving ability, and when we only booked one person for the all inclusive )instead of two) instead of charging us what Expedia would have charged us for the “2nd person, about $260 more) they first said it would be $950, then another manager said $950, and then $750 and then $619 and then they finally charged me $609 dollars. I’m so disappointed in that experience. Feels like a hustle and clearly they were not concerned with us coming back. Also, too Was dated, and we awoke to sewer noise coming up through the bathroom drain every morning. Sounded like a Leviathan. Stay at a Marriott - avoid this Sandos hustle. Note: I spoke with them and emailed higher management. I really gave them the opportunity to avoid the negative review. They seem desperate to keep the overcharge. Bummer.

Want to start off my saying the staff at this resort is top notch .. everyone was very friendly , most would remember your name . Pool - older but never had to fight for a chair , clean .entertainment staff was energetic , hospitable and amazing .. top mentions to Carlos , Carmen , Norma but all were great ! Room - LOVED my marina view which I didn’t think I would enjoy versus ocean but it was incredible .,the first resort the AC was almost Too cold . Food - well done for AI .. the servers in the restaurant all hustled their butts off to make each meal perfect . Food was good with many options . I just wish churros were available everyday !! Suggestions - please invest in updating the fitness center .. much , much too small- any more than 4 people and were tripping over each other and dumbells were always in use and it was busy everyday .. make the facility twice as big , two complete dumbbell racks are needed along with new machines . ( leg machine and cables were the only updated pieces ) Also a night time or really early snack shack would be great for grabbing something before breakfast opens at 7 for catching early flights or those who wake up really early ..
