Well placed for local walks, location pretty insignificant and no facilities at hotel to relax or sit outside when weather tricky, which was most days because we encountered bad weather. If you are happy walking every day in any kind of weather this is for you. 」

「Ett charmigt och mycket speciellt hotell. Man ska vara natur- och friluftsintresserad för att uppskatta det till fullo. Det ligger mitt i "ingenstans" med vandringsleder utanför dörren. Mycket rustika rum, men fullt bekvämt - men det kan vara kallt med otät dörr. Å andra sidan härligt att kunna elda i kaminen på kvällen, det blev varmt och charmigt. Gaskamin finns också. Trevlig restaurang med enkel men god mat. Frukosten utmärkt. Personalen trevlig och hjälpsam men de flesta talar bara spanska.」

「No staff at all to help with check in. No heat in the rooms and it’s freezing. Half the power was out in the room. No maintenance personnel to deal with power being out. Online checking took way longer than it should because their system kept failing. Pretty disappointing. This place has the potential to be really good if it was managed properly. Disappointed. 」

「There is so much to be impressed by at this hotel. When walking through the main entrance you are surrounded by Spanish culture. The breakfast has everything you would expect in a big hotel croissants, coffee, cereal, cheeses and meat etc. but in a beautiful Spanish room. There is a sitting room with piano, a small library with table. The room had lots of beautiful furnishings. The balcony had table and two chairs. Everything in the Expedia photos is what you will see.」

「Man sollte hier insgesamt keine zu hohen Erwartungen haben. Pro: Die Aussicht. Wirklich beeindruckend. Wer ein Zimmer mit Meerblick bucht, macht alles richtig. Dafür lohnt es sich definitiv. Es gab eine eigene kleine Küche, was sehr praktisch war. Der Zimmerservice war gut: täglich frische Handtücher und eine gründliche Reinigung der Zimmer. Contra: Die Parkplatzsituation ist schwierig. Es war fast nie ein Parkplatz zu finden und wenn doch, waren diese sehr eng. Am besten parkt man gegenüber...

「Great property with equally spectacular views of the ocean, golf course and mountains! Rooms are spacious and well-appointed! Dining options are abundant - from an informal pool side cafe to a fancy, multi course dinner tasting menu! Lots of places to lounge - poolside or to stare off at the views. Check-in process was a tad long for my taste but overall a 9.9!!」
