“This was a perfect little spot for a family of four. We explored Santa Cruz and the beaches and also all of the surrounding areas. It’s a no frills and comfortable, clean spot to post up. As mentioned, a little road noise but in passing all of the local hotels, I feel like it would be similar wherever you stay!”

“The vineyard and grounds are beautiful and well kept, and the local cat is very friendly, and greeted us when we arrived. While the kitchenette was small, it was useful. There is no longer a toaster oven, as the photo shows, but instead a separate toaster and a microwave. The pots and pans are stainless, and adequate for reheating and light cooking. The location is great! It's just a few minutes from some nice shops in Aptos Village, and Nisene Marks State Park, where we hiked a couple times.”

“It took a minute to adjust to the small size of the cabin; once we did, it was cozy and comfortable. The outdoor deck is great, with a couch and table, surrounded by huge trees and the sound of a creek bubbling over rocks. There is a full kitchen with a stove/oven, fridge/freezer, and hot water (that takes a few minutes to heat up). There are several cabins on the property, and doggies are welcome.”

“We stayed here for a long weekend with our group of 7 adults and 1 infant. We absolutely loved this property, and it was the perfect place for our large group. We would love to come back again in a heartbeat! The three levels of the property worked out great, since our group included multiple families from all across the U.S. Having separation with the three levels for sleeping and also communal places to gather, like the game room and living room, worked out great for our group. “We loved our stay at the cottage! The house was immaculate and comfortable. I loved the thoughtful details like the record player with vintage albums (my daughter enjoyed playing them!), the shampoo and body wash in the shower, and the Nespresso pods. The beds were comfortable and the kitchen was nicely stocked. The location is very convenient for grocery shopping (nearby Whole Foods and Trader Joe's) and you're two minutes away from Pizza My Heart. Brayton was very responsive and helpful with……

“Lovely large grounds near an amazingly beautiful regional park with redwoods and many diverse microclimates. The bedrooms are small but adequate. The hot tub is a fabulous treat!”

“I loved the location and house. It was exactly ss described. I did the local history museum, the Wharf, and the Monterey Bay Natural Marine Sanctuary. Ate dinner at the Crows Nest 5 min away. Great view, okay food. So much I didn't see though. I only wish I could stay longer.”

“This a cool cabin, a few short miles from Scott’s Valley where I was visiting family. I enjoyed the vibe much more than a hotel in Santa Cruz. Aimee made check in/out a breeze!”

“The couch is not very comfortable for sleeping. The internet was down for our three day stay. Cell service is minimal at best. All that aside, the place is beautiful and the river is a nice teat. Ride the steam train while you are there.”
