“If I could rate our stay higher I would. Everything was exceptional. The people who operate the lodge are kind, helpful, and just all around awesome. They let us store our bags ahead of check-in and hangout in the common area post check out. The room itself was super clean. Awesome spot, good value and vibes. “Sligo was such a quiet and charming place. We enjoyed our time there. We stayed in Riverside Hotel for 1 night, the very spacious room, nice staff and delicious food gave us very good impression. The room was just face the river, which had amazing view. After checking out for days, we met some unhappy misunderstanding with the hotel, but finally the hotel management dealt with it effectively.”

“There were some nice things about this property - overall it was well maintained on pleasant grounds. The breakfast was also very good. However, the air conditioner in our room did not work which resulted in a hot fitful sleep, and a musty-smelling room. The mattress is also not what I would expect for a hotel of this calibre. When we mentioned the concern about the temperature to staff they simply said “oh I’m sorry.” When we went to use the pool we were unable to access it as a swimming lesson……

“A fantastic place to stay. My elderly parents required an ensuite and this fitted the bill perfectly. Fresh flowers greeted us on the fining table. Great selection of leaflets showing you things to do in the west coast of Ireland. Would highly reccomend a visit to Parkes Castle followed by a boat ride on Lough Gill stopping at Dooley Park https://roseofinnisfree.com/ .
