"This hotel is a lovely, historic hotel in downtown Louisville. The hotel is very inviting and grand, when you first enter. The staff were very friendly and went above and beyond when it came to customer service. The room was very clean but some of the maintenance was lacking overall in the hotel. Ceilings were chipping in various areas along with some doors. This is to be expected in a historic hotel though and is understandable. We ate at the Lobby Bar and Grill and the food and service were both excellent. Must try the amazing Hot Brown while you are there! We had after dinner drinks at the bar and the bartenders (Kat and Nick) were exceptional. We had breakfast at the buffet breakfast. The food was good but it was overpriced for a breakfast buffet (the breakfast buffet cost as much as dinner the night before). Overall, I highly recommend this hotel if you are in Louisville."
