Excellent location! Friendly and helpful staff! It's a nice beachfront area but I don't think it was suitable for bathing because of the waves but I'm not sure if there were rough seas those days. This is Maho Beach right across from the airport so it's the perfect spot for seeing planes and walking on the beach. It's in walking distance or easy transportation to the airport and other places. Taxis are expensive so definitely do public transportation which is safe. However the taxis are reliable and use the SXM Taxi app.

Loved the location of the resort and watching the airplanes land and take off. The rooms were outdated but had everything we needed. Loved the pool area and access to the beach! The umbrellas and chairs on the beach got taken pretty early but I liked that the hotel had a sand/beach area where you wouldn’t be bothered by vendors.

Excellent service. Very professional and friendly. Attentive to our needs. The room was more like a small apartment with oven, fridge, microwave and coffe and tea makers. You get out of your room and you are on Maho Beach, beautiful, sandy and clean. There is also a beautiful expansive pool. And a wide variety of restaurants and shops right out of the lobby. 10/10

Great location

It was a last minute trip but we needed a great hotel. The Royal Islander La Page was terrific. Located right on the beach next to the airport. Our room overlooked the beach…it was wonderful…and had a small kitchen. Staff were very accommodating and helpful. Would definitely recommend.

We have found that booking through 3rd party that we are given the most undesirable rooms. We asked for another room after waiting for an hour and a half for a manager to respond, we ended up keeping the room assigned to us with a promise of being moved first thing the next morning. I was told that if I withdraw an earlier review on our previous stay by Ms Lena the manager, the room was not available at 2:00pm, we stayed in our assigned room. This resort is a part of RCI vacation rentals.

It’s a basic hotel with necessary amenities. There wasn’t anything special. Staff doesn’t interact much with guests and there aren’t many activities on site other than bingo. I would say this particular location is best for older travelers who want to relax in silence.

A good hotel overall. However, it needs a major update. They don’t have room service. They did not provide water. Their staff are super friendly though. They need to change their beach towel policy.
