“A lovely apartment in a great location; ideal for the eateries, bars and shops in Windermere village. The flat was comfortable with a central living area that is ideal for relaxing and dining. The bedrooms are a good size with comfy double beds and plenty of storage space.”

“Unbelievable apartment!!! What a find, from the moment I found The Rockefeller on Expedia to arrival through to the end of the stay everything was the best!! Not going to gointo much detail as wouldn’t want to ruin anybody else’s experience but I will say you won’t be disappointed, everything about the apartment is funky, design led and luxurious from the furnishings to the artwork and even the kitchen and bathroom are of the highest spec. Centrally located with ample parking pretty much……

“I cannot thank Craig and Del enough. Last minute booking for myself, my sister, and my dogs. Phenomenal communication and clarity of instructions, brilliant parking space and sign posting. The apartment (Wainwright) beyond exceeded my expectations! Beautifully appointed, stunningly decorated, and so incredibly thoughtfully put together. The dog welcome box was a really sweet touch. Beds are comfortable, amenities are top notch- and I genuinely could not have been more stoked with what was a home……

“It was very good. Lovely location, easy commute, very clean and nice scenery from front of house. Recommended for anyone.”

“The property location was great, in a very quiet area. It was a great base to visit other places in the area. The hosts were great, they live next door so are are accessible if required. Really recommend.”

“ Convenient location close to train station, bus departures, supermarket and start of shopping and restaurant streets. Small room with adequate ensuite and character to decoration.”

“There were dirty dishes in the dishwasher and parking was a nightmare; other cars were in the spot that were suppose to be designated for the listing. We had to pay to park over night. Pill out bed is not very comfortable. The host had great communication when we had trouble with accessing the check in instructions. Overall, wish the dishes in the dishwasher had been dealt with correctly as we planned on eating breakfast there in the morning before leaving but had no clean cutlery!”

“Lovely apartment . Loved the colourful light above window table which got bright sun in the morning, very well equipoed kitchen area and great full stretch bath to soak away alot of walking. Excellent location for Bowness amenities and the lake and about 20 mins steady walk back to train station. Buses, cafes 2 minutes away. Only slight niggle were fibre pillows bit hard and flat for me but i was that tired from being out and about it didnt stop me sleeping and i would stay again 😊”

“The property is within a stone's throw from everything in Bowness, but that's about it. The flat itself is spacious, but it is meh. It lacks some touches, and most amenities need refurbishing/replacing. Only one vertical fan was available, and the small fans in each room is a heater/fan combo that does not provide cooling especially in the heat. The worst bit is you have to climb metal stairs which was very tiresome, considering we have big luggages and a toddler. The host Kay was very……

“Fantastic location so close to the restaurants, shops and lake. The apartment was very clean and had everything you needed. Great communication from the host. Will be booking again. ”
