Apartment has a special character, very family friendly and nice owner. One negative is the stairs as there is no elevator.

Helena is an exception and lovely host-very kind. The breakfast is amazing-she bakes fresh cakes daily-the display is beautiful, lovely meats, cheeses, cappuccino, juices etc. The room is beautiful decorated, located close to town but away from the noise. I highly recommend Helena and her beautiful home. She made our stay very special.

Amazing stay

We had a great one night stay at La Bella Lucca. The host was open, service minded and pleasant. We did not know what to expect, but we were surprised when we entered our room. It was beautiful. Nicely decorated, clean, and spacious. The bathroom was very good, even had a shower with radio, lights and different shower head options. A/c worked like a charm. And the bed was very comfortable. We got tips on how to get to the city and back by bus. We had a car to return, so we drove into the city, and ended up taking a taxi back at night. Not a very expensive ride. We took the bus the day we left. 3-4 minute walk to the bus stop. It will take you within the city walls, and to the station. She made us a great big breakfast, and a very good omelette. We were sadly only staying for one night, but if we come back to Lucca we know where we want to stay. We would recommend this place to everyone.

Sehr geräumige und authentische Unterkunft. Hausherr sehr nett und auch die Kommunikation im Vorfeld war gut. Sehr gern wieder. Hervorzuheben ist die vorhandene Klimaanlage und das Frühstück.

Accueil et confort perfectibles

Points positifs : grande suite avec une chambre lit double, un lit simple (+2 canapés ?) dans la pièce principale, et un espace cuisine sur la mezzanine avec table. Situation près de Lucca (10 minutes en voiture). La décoration classique était soignée. La climatisation fonctionnait mais était bruyante. Points à améliorer : - accueil : nous avons dû insister pour que quelqu'un nous accueille, et le numéro de téléphone fourni ne répondait pas. Après nous avoir montré la suite, nous n'avons plus revu la personne, y compris pour nous proposer le petit déjeuner. - confort : le matelas du lit double était trop vieux et creusé. - intimité : la porte qui mène à la suite ne monte pas jusqu'au plafond, et on entend les autres clients qui passent dans le couloir (et eux nous entendent). - propreté : les lits et les sanitaires étaient propres. Si le sol était globalement propre, le tapis du salon avait des miettes, et le frigo méritait d'être nettoyé. - douche : high tech des années 2000, trop complexe à utiliser, entartrée, et un des tuyaux sur le côté s'est défait causant une petite inondation (et nous n'avions personne à qui le signaler). Pas mal de choses à améliorer !

La posizione forse non è ottimale per visitare la città ma per la nostra sosta di una sola notte è stata una sistemazione perfetta. La camera era molto spaziosa, accogliente, arredata con cura e gusto e sopratutto pulita. La proprietaria molto gentile!

Pasamos una noche. Llegamos antes de tiempo y nos permitieron entrar pronto, para aprovechar el día. Las habitaciones estaban muy limpias y todo muy cuidado. 100% recomendable.

Il b & b è gestito da una signora gentile e disponibile, ma è in una corte piuttosto giù di tono e con un parcheggio sui generis. L’interno della struttura e la camera sono accoglienti, la colazione buona.

Pessima esperienza

Nonostante fossimo in perfetto orario, non c'era nessun al check-in. Abbiamo provato a chiamare più volte sul telefono fisso ( l'unico pubblicato) e nessuno ha risposto. Solo grazie ad una vicina di casa ( che casualmente passava di li) siamo riusciti ad entrare in casa. La proprietaria non si è presa neanche la briga di scusarsi per l'accaduto. Non ci era mai successa una cosa del genere. La stanza al secondo piano è molto rumorosa, non insonorizzata, si sente qualsiasi rumore proveniente dal piano di sopra. Prezzo assolutamente eccessivo per il servizio offerto. Assolutamente sconsigliato

Little Gem in Lucca

We loved our stay in Bella Lucca. We had great communication with the Host. He was friendly, helpful and very good person. The rooms were so pretty, cosy and clean. We drive 8 minutes away from the apartment and we had dinner in a lovely restaurant. We had breakfast in the morning, good variety. We will come back!
