Lucca’s famously golden light spills over the roofs at Casa Lucky, this vintage-inspired, modern-feeling apartment perched above Via del Gallo and Via del Battistero which are the renowned Antique shops Streets of Lucca. There’s something to intrigue at every turn, whether it’s the views of the medieval courtyards and arched passageways, the sculptural Renaissance grand dome of the baptistery at your doorstep, or the inviting loft architecture of the apartment filled with clear light-splashed furniture. Walk 10 mins and board a train at the train station and set off for daily trip anywhere in Tuscany and beyond. Collecting your car will be easy too with a safe parking lot just in 10 mins walk away. Wifi, air conditioning and heating will make a perfect stay in every season at this 3rd floor penthouse apartment (no elevator, 56 steps)

Casa Lucky, Lucca, Italy

The apartment is very impressive when you first walk in the front door. It has been remodeled very well on the first floor with plenty of room, great decor and very nice modern kitchen. We had six adults. My partner and I were relegated to the third bedroom upstairs because it had twin beds. Unfortunately, the ceiling was so low for my six feet height that I was constantly bumping my head on the low roof ceiling rafters. This room should only be used to children who are no taller than five feet tall. Even at that height they would still have to bend down to dodge the ceiling rafters. The shower in that bathroom is smaller that the one I had on my first cruise many years ago. To make things worse, the hot water system would not regulate correctly. Only "one" person could shower at a time. If someone in one of the other bathrooms, or in the kitchen turned on the hot water, the person taking the shower would only have cold water ... not a good way to spend their holiday! I must say the management company representatives were very helpful and did everything they could when we called them.

The best stay in Lucca

We loved the accommodations- our kids actually picked it out for the uniqueness of the glass hallway. Yea it was a bit of a hike up the stairs and it was hard with the luggage’s, but once you get inside it was large, quiet and beautiful. Very spacious, kitchen had everything you need including a Moka to make coffee. It was also a huge plus to have had a dryer in the unit. We had a small issue with water drainage in the showers son the first day but they took care of it right away. The host was very responsive. The location of the apartment was very close to the entrance to Lucca and it was within a 15 min walk from the train station. The air conditioner was awesome. We really enjoyed our stay especially the kids

Amazing penthouse

Great corner unit, all as described and photographed. The property manager is excellent. Recently renovated and all appliances are new. On a quiet side street 50 yards from a square where one can be dropped off. Perfect launch point for exploring Lucca.

We had a wonderful time. The location was good and the apartment was modern and comfortable. The stairs were a challenge with our luggage but the staff thankfully helped us! Highly recommend!

Amazing!

Casa Lucky was a great apartment! The apartment slept 6 easily and each bedroom had its own bathroom, which was great. The place is beautifully decorated and had everything we needed. Lucca is a small town that is very walkable, so nothing is very far away, but even still the apartment is incredibly well located. The air conditioning was a lifesaver as the July days were very hot. The apartment is on the top floor, so up a few flights of stairs. The hosts were super responsive and helpful. We had an amazing stay!
