Excellent location for a family vacation

Lucca was better than expected! It's like the whole town lives in a story book! Both the city and the apartment are really great and have tons of character. We would stay here again. Also, the host responds very quickly.My only complaint is that the king mattress needs to be replaced (probably like 10 years ago).

Best Apartment in Lucca!

We absolutely loved everything about the apartment, but especially the location! Right in the Heart of Lucca! Stefano went above and beyond to make sure we were taken care of, which was a lot seeing as how our bags had been lost on the flight in! Cannot thank him enough! If you plan on staying in Lucca…this character filled, lovely apartment is a must!

Lucca

We stayed three nights in Lucca, using it as a base to go to Florence and Pisa. Overall the place was satisfactory but if your looking to cook meals, the kitchen is lacking in basic pots and pans etc. Being inside the wall, there is plenty of street noise from 6 am to midnight. A very light sleeper will not be happy and some of us slept with ear plugs.

Nice stay in Lucca

We had 2 very nice nights in Lucca. The appartment is super central, check-in was very easy and flexibel and we got some good tips for our stay. Thanks a lot again!

Beautiful apartment in a beautiful city

I can’t speak highly enough of this apartment or the hosts. On our arrival, our party was delayed by about 5 hours, but Francesca was still able to meet us when we arrived. The apartment is a converted momentary, and the interior really is stunning. The three bedrooms and two bathrooms are lovely, and the whole apartment is light and airy. The kitchen has all the facilities you would need to prepare a meal (although we didn’t get around to it as the nearby restaurants are so good!). It’s very centrally located, and overlooks one of the main shopping streets, so everything you could want is on your doorstep. The only slight drawback is that no aircon means that had to have the windows open to stay cool, and the street nose can be quite loud until about 1am; and the street sweepers can give you an early wake up call! After the first night though, I slept straight through! I would definitely stay again and recommend!

More steps than expected

The apartment was fantastic! Chic, elegant, GREAT location, very clean and comfy beds. The first floor means you are not on the ground floor. That is floor 0 in Italy. So we were surprised by the (eek) steps. But Stefano helped us both up and down with our suitcases and we older ladies were quite appreciative of that. There are 2 bedrooms and 2 baths in the main level. The second floor has (eek) more steps and the 2 twin beds. We also didn’t realize it didn’t have a/c but it is perfectly situated to not need it. If you close the western shutters to the patio, and open the windows that are shaded due to the narrow streets, you get a great cross breeze. The street noise to me was soothing like the sound of waves. But others were quite happy with the earplugs I brought. Stefano had a lovely welcome gift for us. Great host recommendations for everything from parking to dining. We had a great time!

Bellissimo

Subito dopo i primi passi che abbiamo fatto dentro l'appartamento abbiamo sentito un feeling speciale. E' un vero e proprio paradiso all'interno di un gioiello di città. La casa gode di tutti i confort ed è nel cuore del centro storico. L'arredamento è molto curato. Ve lo consiglio sia per coppie che per una famiglia. I proprietari sono stati fin da subito molto gentili e premurosi. Perfino un regalo abbiamo trovato...che non poteva non essere un buon rosso toscano!
