“Nice clean”

“The location was wonderful! The dog was able to be off-lead with her training collar and roam without fear of vehicles. It was calm and quiet and a relaxing time in the woods. We were fortunate to have very few mosquitoes and played sports outside and had windows open a lot. No wi-fi, which I didn’t notice before booking. Luckily we could use our hotspots but signal was 1/5 or 2/5 bars. We don’t usually watch tv on vacation but had wanted to watch football or maybe a DVD. No cable, and the DVDs……

“Wrong address on the property. Only found because of the pictures. Very strong smell of urine in the bathroom. Frying pans in very poor condition. Not even salt and pepper for seasoning. The bed I wanted to sleep in was super uncomfortable so I had to sleep on a top bunk, which was comfortable. I think there are both new and old mattresses. Dead batteries in the TV remote. Peaceful location but will probably stay in a hotel next time we go up.”

“It was amazing place, very clean smelled really good and very peaceful place to get away from society that moves so fast. Here offers a place to relax and enjoy as well as taking in the beautiful nature and cabin. It was very calm and even more peaceful when it rains! The host was always On-Top with the communication as well letting us know what we needed to know if we had any questions. Honestly this place was a 10/10”

“It was easy to find and settle in. The only "complaint" that I would have is there is a tree growing from the beach and blocking the view from the chairs. We had a great view of the lake through sunset and moon rise, and the sunrise proved the name Paradise.”

“The house was ok but I wouldn’t stay there again. The upstairs had no AC and it was very hot and uncomfortable. The photos of the bedrooms were not what you saw there. The carpet was unkept and very stained. The one room showed a queen and a full and there was only a queen. There were dead bugs smashed to the walls in the bedrooms. The blinds in the rooms were junk and falling down as were the curtains. The one window didn’t have a screen so you couldn’t open it for cooler air. The coffee mugs……

“I had to reach out to host on day of check in to get info on how to access property. Got there and the bathroom ceiling was leaking all over as it was raining outside (and apparently inside bathroom too). Host had someone come out to property to look at leaking ceiling, couldn't do anything about it .... The next day (drier out) he did caulk around something. Don't know if worked or not as thankfully we didn't have any more rain. Also- very off putting to open cabinets to find set mouse traps……

“This property was very comfortable and clean. It had all the necessities for our time in the Uppper Penninsula . 1 hour from Pictured Rock kayaking, sight seeing. The people in the town are very friendly. The property has ample towels and blankets. The beds were comfortable. There was plenty of space e for our family.”

“This old house had everything we needed :) and great views of the stars at night :)”

“Perfect for our family of 5! :) Very clean for a cabin! I like they request no shoes inside. That's how we do it at our home. Not a single bug inside the cabin *other than some mosquitoes that followed us in* and it's very appreciated because we don't like spiders or creepy crawlies. Would recommend! Plenty to do within about a half an hour drive. The seclusion was lovely.”

“Richard replied to us very quickly when we had any questions. The cabin was immaculate and exactly what we expected. I would highly recommend this property to anyone wanting a relaxing stay in the UP. We enjoyed it so much we are planning our return visit. The only drawback was through no fault of Richard but the day after we checked in, route 77 was closed just south of the cabin for construction. This made for a long detour if we wanted to do any sightseeing south of the cabin. We……
