“A week at the Hilltop Retreat was great…a month would have been better. This quaint little cottage provided a cozy but plentiful space for our family of four. We enjoyed the large, open yard, with plenty of room for outdoor activities, and the beautiful ocean view while sitting and drinking coffee every morning. We made great use of the golf clubs, kayaks and bicycles. The cottage provided a great base for us while we explored the south shore. We hope to visit again very soon!”

“This was a gem of an accommodation! It was beautifully decorated and designed with all sorts of tasteful decor items but there was a ton of storage space for all of our needs. They had everything it was so well equipped, nothing was missed in the design and layout. It was just as comfortable as it was aesthetically beautiful. We give this a 10 out of 10!”

“We go away every summer with another couple and have been to a number of properties in the Maritime region.This property was exceptional! Spotless and stocked with all of the essentials and then some! Plenty of dishes, cutlery, towels, bedding etc. The extra kitchen supplies were a great addition.The property offers a great indoor layout (bright and spacious), great outdoor seating spaces and views. A very quiet spot but close to Lunenburg and Mahone Bay for day trips. We so loved our……

Close to charming towns of Mahone Bay and Chester. Watched part of the Chester Yacht Club's annual regatta from a distance on our balcony. Highly recommend this property.”

The house was comfortable and had lots of room to hang out when we were not out checking out all the nearby attractions. Could maybe use a few more plates and cutlery along with dish towels which we could not find. All around a good first Vrbo experience. ”
