“Nice new hotel in Northborough. Friendly efficient front staff. The room was clean but a little sterile. Some stains on the comforter that was a little off putting—no duvet. Not your typical Hilton pillows. Nice breakfast and good coffee with oat milk option. Nice place if you need to stay in the area for a short trip.”

“This was my fourth time staying at this place, and while I still enjoyed myself I was a bit disappointed when we checked the bed & found dried blood on the white blankets, & one of the pillow cases. Due to that we got a room change. Our second room had very clean bedding but carpet floor outside the bathroom was SOAKED! it reminded very wet until the next afternoon for check out. Our Ac unit only blew out hot air under the cooling setting & we tried everything to get it to work. Sweat our butts……

“Pleasant surprise after reading poor reviews prior to booking. Room was clean. It was a quiet the 2 nights I was there. Seems that the Inn was recently renovated. Staff was courteous. Inn was 5 to 10 minutes away from restaurants. And nearby Fitchburg.”

“The man at the front desk was of no help and refused my stay because he wouldn’t accept my military ID card, as my drivers license was lost during my travels. He also would not accept a picture of my license. This upset me a lot but more so than anything, his rude and demeaning attitude and unwillingness to have a calm and professional conversation is what left me floored.”

“Served its purpose and wasn’t ridiculously priced. Not a four or five star but decent. Clean, bed was comfortable. Shower was adequate.”

“While the owners are lovely people and their restaurant wonderful, our accommodations were not really clean. The ceiling plaster was falling. Some of the areas were not dusted for a while, our bathroom mirror still had splash marks from the previous guest, and the carpets were not vacuumed. This place really has great potential with upgrades and cleaning. These are constructive criticisms to help.”

“House was beautiful. Room and facilities were spotless. The hosts were brilliant as well. I’d missed going out for dinner in the area so they kindly made me an excellent grilled cheese sandwich. And when they realised I’d be walking half an hour the next day to my next stop, even dropped me off. Couldn’t recommend this place enough. If I’m ever back in the area I’ll be staying here.”

“The Chocksett Inn was conveniently located for all our travel destinations, close to local highways, nearby both gas and a good coffee/donut shop. The front desk staff was super helpful and friendly - thanks Megan and Everett. The on site restaurant was a great place to eat/drink - thanks Paula and Nick. Our room did not have a lot of outside light, but was otherwise very comfortable, clean and welcoming. Overall the Inn had a lot of charm and personality, and flowers, my wife loved all the……
