"Do not book through Expedia! Got there had no room although I had an itinerary number and confirmation number from Expedia. Had to buy another room when we got there after paying through Expedia. Now I’m trying to get a refund through Expedia for the room I didn’t get through them. No fun!! Call the motel directly to get your rooms. "

"The hotel is clean. They have updated, somewhat, in the last 4 years we have stayed. I didn't see any bugs the last couple times. The owners are not very friendly. The beds, A/C, and Bathrooms are all dated."

"Very spacious, clean, smart house on the farm. We had fresh 12 eggs in the fridge from the host. It was very nice. When I will come to Troy again, I would definitely stay there again. It is better than the picture."

"The first room we were given smelled terrible. The next one was not great, but better. I did not feel like to tub was clean enough for my kids to take a bath in without stopping and purchasing cleaner. I am glad that I did. It was not clean. It was difficult to get clean washcloths each day. We had to find the cleaning staff to give them our dirty washcloths and trade with them, the front desk staff would not take care of it or give us extras. There were not pool towels available for use. The breakfast was limited and exactly the same every morning. The quality was also lower than what I have had at other hotels chains."
