“The staff was very helpful and made us feel most welcome. The place was clean and the breakfast was good. I really appreciated that they would not allow us to tip because it made the experience feel more comfortable. Tipping culture in Egypt can be crazy.
Our room was very nice and having the two bedrooms was wonderful for our family.”

“Apartment mit grossem Balkon und Nilblick für den 5-fachen Preis als üblich in Luxor gebucht, ein dreckiges Apartment bekommen, ohne den grossen Balkon und Meerblick. Laut Eigentümer wirbt man mit Fakebildern, das sei normal, ein widerlicher Gastgeber. Es war eine grauenvolle Erfahrung, nach 4 Tagen haben wir die Unterkunft gewechselt. Jetzt haben wir ein tolles Apartment zu einem Viertel des Preises und einen super netten Vermieter.”

“Ahmed the host was great and very helpful. The unit was simple (no tv) but newly refurbished, very clean and spacious. It was very nice having access to the washer machine in the complex. The area in the West Bank where it ’s located is very safe and quiet. Avoid the East Bank for accommodations unless you want to spend more and stay in old accommodations. Ferry across the Nile is 25le per person. Use Indrive to get around. Uber is not recommended. ”
