"I was bitten by what appeared to be bed bugs. I contacted room service immediately, and when an attendant(Robert) came to inspect the situation, the first thing he said upon seeing the bites was that they were likely caused by bed bugs as if he knew that the hotel had bed bugs. This situation caused me significant distress and disrupted my trip. In an attempt to address my complaint, the hotel moved me to a different room in the middle of the night(3:46 am) I was told this was an upgrade for the inconvenience but the room was essentially the same, if not smaller and staff repeatedly entered and exited the room until approximately 4:15 AM, further disturbing my rest. The following day, I was moved again as the previous room they “upgraded “ me to, was not an upgrade it was a smaller room then my original booking. While in this room, I discovered what appeared to be dead bed bug stuck in a towel while using the washroom. When I reported this to the front desk, they again refused to acknowledge that it was a bed bug. Additionally, they have attempted to inspect my room only when I am not present, and when I decline due to my absence, they shift blame onto me. The duty manager ( rich) finally acknowledged it was a bed bug she tried bribing me with a bottle of wine and breakfast in the morning only because I advised that i was going to report this to Expedia and write a google review. She kept insisting “please don’t,iwill get it sorted out”.Nothing sorted out. Very disappointed"

"Good ambience, expensive buffet looked delicious, close to MOA, quiet though small room, nice shower but BYO wash cloth. Bellman very late for checkout. Shuttle pickup never showed, so we took Uber."

"The staff was very accommodating and kind during our stay. I requested an early check-in because my mom had just undergone surgery, and although check-in was officially at 2 PM, they allowed us to check in at 1:30 PM, which we truly appreciated. However, when we entered the room, the AC was not working. Maintenance came to try and fix it but unfortunately couldn’t, so we had to wait around 30 minutes before being transferred to another room. My mom was already very exhausted from her recent surgery, so the extra waiting and moving rooms was difficult for her. The next day, housekeeping cleaned in the afternoon, but the service felt incomplete. Some trash was left behind, and the room did not seem fully serviced as expected. Overall, I appreciate the staff’s effort and kindness, especially with accommodating our situation, but there is definitely room for improvement with room maintenance and housekeeping services."

"This place is top notch. Amazing rooms, clean, very nice staff, beautiful swim pool, great beach, good food! What else do you need. Definitely will stay here again when I visit."

"The hotel is fairly new, clean and with a nice pool area. The staff is attentive and helpful. You can book all tours directly with reception. The room is spacious and comfortable. However, the air con has some very strong lights which blink overnight, disturbing your sleep. The roosters next door were also a natural alarm clock we did not want to have in our holidays. Although fresh, the buffet breakfast was more like a continental type and could have a bigger variety of western food including cheese and cold cuts. Lastly, the shuttle times to the city and Lio beach were very limited (once in the morning and once in the evening), so we had to pay for a Tuc-tuc to get to those places nearly every time; it would be great if the shuttle ran every hour for guest convenience. Overall it was a great stay."
