Lychen rightly bears the nickname "climatic health resort", as critics can still measure and enjoy inhaling the clean air today. Situated in the middle of this charming water- and forest-rich environment, Lychen is an ideal starting point for hiking, mushroom hunting, swimming, cycling tours and boat excursions. The Woblitz river and the Himmelpforter lock provide connections to the Stolpsee lake and the Havel waterway.
