「Me and my partner stayed at the Mermaid in over the May Bank holiday. We stayed in room 19, which was a great size and clean. Staff were really friendly and breakfast was very tasty. Would definitely recommend this hotel when staying in Rye.」

「Had a great stay at the lookout. Some of the decor is a bit dated in places. But when it was done was done to a very high standard so has worn well. The hotel has benefit of parking which is charged at £10 a day. This compares well to costs of public car parks in Rye. Definitely worth it for the convenience. 「We had room 17- a review of this room last September was awful. If accurate it has now been improved as it was comfortable and we had no issues with it. All staff were very good - friendly and efficient.Breakfast was excellent. Ample parking at front of property . Grassy area at back alongside the river with sitting area was very nice. 「We stayed here on the 19th May ready to talk the shuttle to France. The staff were friendly proffesi and answered any questions. The room was lovely very clean everything you would expect with real comfy beds. The hotel is in the perfect location to walk along the sea front or have a stroll through the gardens at the back. Would highly recommend this hotel and stay again.」

「Our shepherd hut in Pinewood was spotlessly clean and refreshed every day. Staff were always on hand if needed and really helpful at checkin (the process for checking in and out was seamless). 「The view from my accommodation and also that of my family members in the two next door was way better than the picture - literally 'tree tops' - looking across the Kent countryside through mature trees. The terrace was perfect for sitting out. The rooms were modern and really lovely, air conditioned, well equipped and with a sliding Japanese style door for privacy when the kids were in bed.
