It was what we hoped for. In the end only 4 people stayed there and we now think it could hold 10. Lots of bathrooms closets, internet connection, condiments in the frig, etc. The managers/owners visited with us twice and they live across the road.

Lovely property

This property was perfect for our family when we were in town to attend a wedding at the Cedar Oaks Farm venue. We had plenty of indoor and outdoor space in which we could relax between the events. The owner was very nice. We loved the beautiful country setting that was still close to shopping areas.

Relaxing get Away

Well there's a reason we keep coming back (4 times staying at Preston and Judy's VRBO). For starters, the place is CLEAN and so inviting. The house has everything you need for a relaxing get away. We have kids aged 6-20 and there's plenty of space for all of us. You can relax on the deck and take in the beautiful view, sit around the fire on the lower level or take in a good book on the front porch. Inside is no less entertaining, you can pay pool, learn a new board game, or just hang out and watch a show. The open floor plan keeps everyone connected. We truly enjoyed our stay again and highly recommend it.

Perfect Stay

The house was welcoming. I felt like I was home. Plenty of space. Judy was extremely responsive to all my messages. Even stopped by to check on us. I would definitely stay here again. Honestly one of my best stays ever.

What a view!

Our stay in this beautiful home in Bedford was absolutely perfect. It sits on a quiet road with beautiful views of the mountains, is fully furnished and stocked and is very spacious. Our family of 7 adults couldn’t have been happier. We all wished we had taken more time off from work to stay longer.

Lovely Home

Couldn’t have asked for a better house or location. Judith was extremely friendly and made it super easy to stay at this rental. Overall, it was certainly one of the best experiences that I have had with a rental. House was comfortable and clean. Loved driving up to the house and seeing those beautiful mountains. 122nd Hall family reunion

Beautiful View

We loved our stay. My husband and I took our three grandchildren on vacation and the house had plenty of space for all of us. The downstairs has two bedrooms, a bathroom, and full living room so the grandchildren loved staying in their own space. The house had every amenity you could need and was clean and comfortable. The view of the mountains from the front porch is breathtaking. We met the owners and they were very nice and hospitable. We will be staying here again.

Great!

I traveled with my husband and 4 kids (11-18). The house was clean and everyone had their own bed We had everything we needed during our stay. The location was great to go in several directions for different activities. The D-Day Memorial is a must-see in Bedford. We would stay here again if we come back to the area.

Perfect Wine Weekend

Eight of us rented the house for a wine trip through the Bedford area for a weekend. It was the perfect setting for our group. The kitchen was big enough for all of us to cook together. The beds were comfortable, easy communication, and there was plenty of room. The only issue we had was that some of our group wanted to watch the final four basketball games and some did not, and there is only 1 tv. A small price to pay for a wonderful weekend!! Thanks so much for hosting us!

Lovely house with beautiful views

Fantastic Christmas vacation 2023

If there was an award for Host of the year, Preston and Judy should be awarded it!!!! Every moment in their home was amazing. The space (we had 8 adults), the views and the friendliness of Judy and Preston was outstanding. Each room was extremely comfortable from the kitchen, living rooms and bedrooms. If you are searching for the perfect place in the Bedford area stop looking and choose this home. So easy to get to Lynchburg and Roanoke. Looking out over the mountains will be something we will miss seeing every day. We will be back without a doubt. Thanks again Judy and Preston John & Lynette
