Lovely and Very Comfortable

We enjoyed our brief stay. The home is lovely and very comfortable. The neighborhood and area was nice and felt very safe. We even had a deer walk through the front yard in the morning. Would definitely stay here again.

Fantastic stay near Liberty

We had a wonderful stay in the "little house". I appreciated the cleanliness and all the fun extras like K-cups, snacks, toiletries, towels, and linens. The kitchen was well stocked, making cooking a meal very easy. It rained for most of our stay but I would have liked to use the firepit outside. We recommend the wing restaurant and the cake shop just down the road!

Fantastic little gem!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Magnolia Cottage! So much better than staying in a cramped hotel room all week. Great quiet location, easily accessible to Lynchburg in all directions. Nicely appointed interior with thoughtful touches for a comfortable stay. Hot tub and fire pit were also wonderful to use. Would definitely stay again next time we’re in town!

Disc Golf World Championships

Great little house near Lynchburg

The house was great and all of the little extras made it even nicer (well stocked kitchen, coffee, toiletries, etc). We enjoyed the yard and hot tub. Would have liked to use the fire pit but there wasn’t any wood and we didn’t know where to buy any.

Perfect setup

This property is everything it’s promised to be -which seldom happens! Cottage was spotless and perfect for a long weekend to visit with my child at Liberty U! Thank you so much for making us feel so welcome and providing literally everything we could need! Loved that we could walk to Starbucks as well! We’ll be back!

We were disappointed that the grass was overgrown. Hottub area was filthy and that was one of the things that attracted me to this listing. So dirty looking noone wanted to use it. No supplies for the firepit which would have been nice. Garbage can was at road and never pulled down so when we took out the garbage as requested we had to walk down to the street. We arrived after dark and front screen door locked. Had to contact property manager and get new code. Very inconvenient when you have driven app. 7 hours. Misrepresentation about twin beds. Trundle bed and had to arrange so noone got stepped on and that guest slept almost on floor. The house was clean and well maintained and the property manager communicated well.

Like walking into a magazine!

As soon as you walk into the door, it feels like you walked into a magazine. This home is definitely the most beautiful Vrbo we have stayed in so far. It is extremely clean! It looks like everything is brand new. The bed is very comfortable and the hot tub was a nice bonus. The only thing you should know before you stay is that you aren’t allowed to use the jets in the hot tub and you aren’t allowed to have anyone on the premises. So, if you have family at the university or surrounding area they are not allowed to come over. Other than that, it was a beautiful place and beautiful stay. We had a lovely time!

Husband’s Bday weekend getaway.

First thing I noticed was how clean the home was. Upgraded amenities and decorated cute. It was warm and inviting. Loved that there was a Starbucks walking distance to the home and a bar with great food so no worries of drinking and driving. The fire pit was wonderful and peaceful. The bed is comfy. The kitchen had all the amenities for cooking full meals. The only downside i would say is the hot tub is not big and is one of the blowup type ones which I knew when booking. I had never seen one in person. It isn’t really big enough for relaxing. I would say to take this property to 5 stars a regular hard hot tub would be it. So i would say I give the home a 4.5 star out of 5 review!

Well appointed, super clean and updated

It was a real treat to stay at Magnolia cottage for Veterans Day weekend. Wish we had stayed longer to enjoy the wonderful hottub. We came prepared with normal expectations for this rental. Wow, well exceeded .The most well appointed rental we've stayed in. Coffee service K cups, Sweeteners and creamer. A ton of jarred spices (not expired)and olive oil. Chilled ice bucket for champagne. Bathroom surprise basket with several new toothbrushes and toothpaste. Qtips and other vanity items. It was so clean and tidy I thought we the first renters. Very prompt and responsive host. Great experience.

Great cozy place.

We loved our time here. The neighborhood is very friendly and clean, and convenient to all amenities. The place was clean, well kept and had all the essentials. We cook in because of food allergies and found the kitchen very sufficient! The bed was very comfy too! Communication was a tad confusing but fine because we had no issues. The host contacted us with all necessary info. When booking, we told them our stay was to visit our college students. We were a little confused when told we couldn’t have anyone in the premises except the confirmed guests. I reached back out to check that it was ok my college students could be there (food allergies as well) for dinners and quality time but never received a response to confirm it was ok. We assumed it would be since we didn’t hear back. All in all, we really enjoyed our time with our kids in this cozy little home for a fall weekend.

Wonderful short stay

This cottage is designed for a small family in a quiet neighborhood but plenty of retail within minutes. Great location for a long weekend visiting your college-aged child.
