“This was a lovely place to stay while in the Adirondacks. It has been completely updated. It is VERY clean and has all the necessities. Dishes, dish soap, and paper towels in the kitchenette. We were very pleasantly surprised by how great this was. There was no staff on site so that was confusing at first because I missed the email with check in instructions but I called the number they provided and someone answered and helped us immediately. We will stay here again.”

“Unique location, lodge and rooms have character. Quick drive to whiteface mountain. The restaurant has a good vibe and was packed on Saturday night. Kids liked the game room. Staff was helpful when we needed some extra service in the room. ”

“We booked the suite since we were a group of 5. The suite had 3 rooms so we would have been quite comfortable but due to change of plans it was just us 3. The hosts were warm and welcoming when they greeted us. Breakfast was lovely each morning, and they provided helpful suggestions for sightseeing. At night we enjoyed sitting by the fireplace playing boardgames and cardgames and they kept the fire going and turned out candles after checking with us. We thoroughly enjoyed the rustic charm of……

“We had a great stay in Dannemora! The spot worked out perfectly for our group of 4 college students. The vrbo is very close to Mount lion which made it easy for us to go on the hike! The property owner is extremely nice and let us check out later than planned because our hiking. The apartment is very clean and cute and has a big living room that is good for playing games or watching movies. It is located right next to Dannemora prison which and there is not much in the town other than the prison……

“Just outside Jay, this cozy little A-frame was immaculately and thoughtfully stocked. Immediately after we arrived, we were snowed in by a freak winter storm! Thankfully, we had everything we needed to weather it - snow shovel, a warm wood stove, coffee, snacks, and more. The host was wonderful and easy to work with, the place itself was clean and lovely, and the location was idyllic. “Our stay to view the totality of the eclipse on 4/8/24 was outstanding. The clouds cooperated and the view from the deck was perfect to watch the moon's slow march across the face of the sun - and then to be plunged into darkness surrounded by the trees and mountains was otherworldly. The house was neat, clean, and had everything we wanted or needed. Marty and Melissa were the perfect hosts with super easy and fast communication. We would love to stay again even without an eclipse!”
