「We had an amazing 2 weeks at Hen Stable! We loved the beautiful garden and cozy living area! You definitely need a car, but we did go on nice walks from the cottage. Gary was so kind and helpful! …always available for questions.We had dinner at the Victoria Inn in Harlech…delicious! We hope to visit again!」

「We booked a short stay for our wedding anniversary. When riverside cottage came up as an option we snapped it up. The location is stunning from every angle. The cottage is both traditional with exposed beams and the thick stone walls you would expect but with modern touches for comfort. 「Really enjoyed our stay in this lovely traditional cottage. The village is lovely, you can buy your essentials from the village shop (Post Office). The cottage is well situated within the village and there are lovely walks nearby. Although the weather was brilliant, the nights were getting chilly so we welcomed the log burner which kept us nice and cosy. The host was on hand with information about the area and advised us about the best places to visit in this beautiful part of the country....

"The view is absolutely beautiful. The overall hygiene was ok, with a small bit of stain on the sheet remaining. However, there was one used instant coffee packaging left, probably due to carelessness of cleaning staff. The worst issue was that the shower was completely not working but the hotel gave us this room knowing that there was a electrical failure for the shower. Although the staff was really polite when we raised this issue in the morning, it does not erase the disappointment at night. The toilet also did not work properly, the flush was extremely weak. There was no way of contacting the hotel at night to sort out the shower issue and the reception runs from 3pm to 6pm instead of 8pm as stated here. Would recommend if those management issues were fixed."
