Our room was a little worn out, in need of new carpet, the bathroom is worn out, missing towel bar, and some of the furnishings were stained and worn out. But, the room was cleaned well, fresh clean sheets, good new mattresses. It was quiet, the exterior was very clean and well maintained, and the staff was excellent. They were kind and helpful. For the price, this was great.

The staff were nice. It’s good they have 24hr check in. You have to check in at Thunderbird which is the motel/inn next to it but it’s just right beside the property. Good for the price especially if you would be put most of the day. Close to the port which is very convenient.

DO NOT BELIEVE THE PICTURES. The photos shared here are either AI enhanced or over 10 years old. The user submitted pics on Google reviews are accurate. Old, dated, musty. Pool and hot tubs drained and disgusting. No wifi or breakfast. Had to check in next door for some reason. Embarrassing. I hate to post bad reviews but the only good thing about this is the proximity to Mack and ferry.

Three properties in one so you have to check in at the Thunderbird. The property is dated. The toilet leaked but the bed and pillows were comfortable. The broom was clean. It had musky smell because of the toilet leak. Overall, we got a decent price and we were only there to sleep, which was what we were looking for the price.

Room smelt horrible. There were blood stains, bodily fluids, hair and a dead bug on the bed. Left after being there for 20 minutes. Requested a refund and was not given one. Don't stay at this hotel.

It was horrible altogether. We had to ask for a refund and when we did all they could give us was one night stay back instead of two. And we had a stay of a total of three nights. After arriving late to the property we didn’t have time to go ask for a full refund because the lobby closed at midnight and when we to the lobby the next morning they could only refund us one night stay even after us showing them pictures of how the room was left. We will never be back and always go stay at somewhere in St Ignace even if it costs a little extra.

The check in lobby was locked with a sign directing us to the neighboring motel to get our key. The staff person was very nice and helpful, but it was bothersome to have to go to a neighboring hotel for information Our room smelled STRONGLY of air freshener when we checked in. As the smell disappaited, the room smelled musty. We went to the neighboring lobby to see if we could get a different room, but there were already several people waiting there to check in, and they couldn't find a reservation. We gave up waiting after a while. The listing shows and mentions an outdoor pool, but it was drained. So overall, a very average stay.
