「I know how important review ratings are, so I don’t want to leave something negative, however I know how important reviews are and I don’t want anyone else to show up with their family and be scared either. The most important thing I want to note is that i feel like you need to make sure you arrive during the day time hours because we arrived at 11 pm and our kids were truly scared since you have to walk in thru a kind of creepy basement area (where bedroom #1 is). 「Stayed with my spouse and mother-in-law as we explored the Redwoods. Very easy to find right off the highway but far enough away that road noise was not an issue (there is a closer road but it was partially closed so road noise was even lower than normal). Behind a secure automatic gate with a few other accommodations. The drive up to the stay was fairly steep so be aware you may need to push the gas up the gravel more than you're comfortable doing. 「Older court style separated rooms but very well maintained. Gas, grocery and dining just across the street. The landscaping was very pretty and we used the gazebo just outside the room to relax with a glass of wine after a busy travel day. 」
