“The pictures don't do this little cottage justice! We were expecting a much, much smaller place (especially the living room) based on the pictures. To say we were surprised at just how roomy the place was is an understatement. The cleanliness, mountain views and location has put this place at the top of our "must revisit" list. Thank you to our host for the fresh fruit, fresh coffee and the box of donuts for us to enjoy during our stay. ”

“My friends and I stayed at this extremely charming place for a quick getaway to the VA wine country. Carrie thought of everything and had some nice touches such as dog bowls and treats for my friend's pup! There were lots of towels and bathroom amenities in case you forget lotion and shampoo. Our stay was peaceful, clean and relatively close to where we wanted to visit. Highly recommend!”

“Great experience! rooms are clean and cozy, kitchen is stocked if you’re cooking, we had our thanksgiving dinner there. Saw a couple of deers outdoors. ”

“This was my first trip to Shenandoah National Park and the cottage was very close to Old Rag and Whiteoak Canyon. My friend and I appreciated how Jimm came out to greet us when we first arrived. He was also very easy to communicate with throughout the trip. We really enjoyed wine tasting and listening to the birds at the cottage. It was nice to learn about the history of the cottage and the area. Thank you for a great time!”

“Enjoyable stay, peaceful stay. No wifi or internet but had a great DVD library to enjoy. Cabin was very clean and very nicely set up and very surprising to see everything that you can think of needed for your stay.”
