The description in this listing is not at all accurate. Only reason we stayed in this hotel was it advertised breakfast and it did not. The hotel is very old did not look at all like pictures. There was a dead bug in one of the queen beds. I selected a room with a king bed. The bathroom was not clean. Will never stay here again!!

front door was kicked in at one time had a big gap, bathroom door would not close, bathroom nasty, need to be remodeled, toilet loose on floor , bed old metal frame mattress would slide off , no phone that worked, phone chargers in lamps did not work, no wake up service, no working ice machine. will not stay @ a days inn again , they do not put any money in to fixing there roooms up.they need a rep to stay and look around.

Staff was pleasant and room was nice and clean. Pool was out of service for cleaning while we were there; luck of the draw. Website description listed breakfast but only had juice and coffee. Lastly, they charged an extra pet fee but politely reimbursed it when I called. Overall, okay for a one-night stay and rightly priced.

Roaches were in the bathroom. Came for a one night stay with family and it was an uncomfortable stay.

My family (son, daughter in law and two infants) had to book an emergency trip and drive three hours for the night and continue the next morning to their destination. They got there at 10pm to check in and were told there was no rooms avaliable. EVEN THO their name was in the reservation list and paid. He called me and I told the lady of their being 2 babies with them and one needing surgery at Shands. She then helped them find a room for the night. For whatever reason they had overbooked. Not sure who was really responsible for this... the hotel or Expedia. But I can honestly say after 15 years of using Expedia I have bever had a problem. Soooo?? Had it not been for her willingness to help my kids, and give them (an out of order) room, they would have been in the car for the night. Either sleeping in it or driving thru the night. As there were no other hotels for 200 mile radius of Gainsville due to multiple events going on at UF. That being said, had it not been for her this rating would have been a zero!!

There were bugs swarming the bathroom sink. The bathroom was filthy. The staff was doing their best. They were overbooked and had to literally go to several rooms to find a clean one to use. Very disappointing stay. Disgusting.
