My first impression of the place was ok. But I felt like the person who checked me in was in a rush. I asked her to make a wake up call for 6 the next morning. It never came. My room had mosquitoes in it so I got bitten while I was sleeping. That’s unacceptable for what I payed for the room. Next time another hotel.

I had a wonderful stay at Meliá Barajas. The hotel is very comfortable, spotless, and the rooms are spacious with excellent beds after a long trip. The location is perfect if you need to be close to the airport, and the complimentary airport shuttle made everything incredibly easy. The staff were professional, friendly, and welcoming throughout my stay. I also enjoyed the restaurant and breakfast, which offered a great variety and high-quality food. Despite being so close to the airport, the hotel was quiet and relaxing, making it a great place to unwind before an early flight. I would definitely stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone looking for convenience, comfort, and excellent service in Madrid.
