The hotel is immaculate the style is very olde worlde and is like stepping back in time, if you like antiques and history this is definitely a spot to stay. The room was clean and the bed was really comfortable I wot well both nights despite the heatwave at the time. The hosts are lovely the right level of attentive without being intrusive. All in all a gem in Maidstone.

I would never stay here again. It’s beautiful yet totally impractical for guests. There is a “no shoes allowed” policy meaning I slipped as I carried my bags up multiple flights of stairs in socks, no air conditioning & no actual shower (just a large bath with hand-held shower handle). I think the owners have severely misjudged what the average guest wants. I paid about the same the week before nearby at the Premier Inn for all the amenities I wanted in a better location. I’ll be staying there next time.

Little hidden gem! Absolutely stunning property. As soon as you walk through the door it’s like stepping back in time. Stunning decor with lots of character and interesting items to look at around the property. Host was warm and welcoming when I arrived. I will definitely be visiting this hotel again and have already started recommending to friends.

Sadly we didn't meet the owners, they were so helpful with various emails, directions, instructions, etc. our bedroom was huge, it is a very spacious home. An unexpected gem in the heart of Maidstone. We will definitely stay again if we visit Maidstone again, or recommend it if we don't. Thank you
