"Cabin was as described and more! So cozy and the snow made even more so. Dan, the host, is great! Kitchen was stocked with all cooking essentials which for us is a need be. Anticipation for Elk proved great! We will return!"

"From the beginning our Host Marty, has been extremely accommodating. Answered all our questions and was always available. They thought about everything. This was our first time away for five days straight and we loved every second. So much so, we left the cabin once. The atmosphere and cabin were absolutely perfect."

"The cabin was cozy, comforable and made us feel right at home. The wifi went in and out sometimes but when it went out it wasn't for that long and I expected as much in a rural mountainous area like that. The only thing I would mention in the negative is that the housecleaner should check to make sure previous guests wipe the counters down sufficiently. I say this because when I was wiping counters down, as requested, on the day we were leaving, I had to wipe up someone else's mess behind the toaster. Other than that everythinng was great and I would definitely stay here again. Oh, and though we didn't see any elk at the viewing areas, on our way home along Rte. 555 we saw a herd with an awesome bull. "

"This was the 2nd time my three friends and I stayed here for an annual HS reunion of sorts. As with last year, we had a good time! The bedrooms are nice with a little room to move about. The house was clean. We did plenty of cooking in the kitchen, too. There were no issues so there was no need to reach out to the host during our stay. My only criticism would be the cooking pans could be better, but we made do. There's a good chance we'll try for this place again next year!"
