“The hotel and grounds are wonderful, particularly in high summer when the gardens and floral scents from the herbs are wonderful. The location is peaceful and calming and the old Abbey grounds give an aura of protection given a high boundary stone wall surrounding the site. The architecture both old and new fit well together and the quality of finish is very high. The complementary coffee or tea on arrival is a nice touch and the glass water bottles to reduce plastic waste is a nice touch that……

“This is an excellent historical property. It has been painstakingly restored and is both comfortable and elegant. We really enjoyed our time here, the bed was one of his not the most comfortable that we have slept on in the two months that we've been on the road. The staff was welcoming and friendly.
