This château feels like it’s been lifted straight out of a fairytale. Overlooking the Loire River, it offers a peaceful retreat surrounded by nature and silence. The breakfast was a true delight – delicious, distinctly French, and featuring some unique and exotic dishes. Our room was a royal experience: beautifully decorated, spacious, and impeccably clean; truly fit for a king and queen. This remarkable property transports you to another era and is the perfect base to explore the nearby castles of the Loire Valley.

샤또에서의 환상적인 경험이었습니다. 고성에서 몇 번 경험은 있었는데 프랑스 샤또는 조금 다른 느낌이었습니다. 18~19세기 나폴레옹과 관련이 있는듯한 회화와 조각도 인상적이었네요.

Hotel is a great value but it’s really tired. It’s really in need of a remodel or at a minimum a refresh. Food service was impeccable but the food caliber was mediocre at best. The piece de resistance was when we woke up the next morning, ready for a big day only to discover there was no hot water. They didn’t just run out, there was literally no hot water fir days and there only response was “sorry, someone should have told you when you checked in”. No offer to discount, no accommodation, just sorry, no hot water

Great customer service and amazing views

Stayed here on a stop over for a trip further south, from the time to check in to check out we received great customer service and the views over the Loire valley were amazing. We will definitely stay again given the chance.

We were not disappointed. The Napoleon room is outstanding. It’s like being in another world. The pictures don’t do it justice how opulent the room is. Make sure to poke your head in their wine cave.

Joli cadre dans un parc boisé, dommage que la signalétique ne permette pas d'arriver facilement à l'accueil de nuit. Il y a à ce niveau un premier axe d'amélioration. Le deuxième axe d'amélioration concerne le petit déjeuner qui est banal et ne correspond pas à celui attendu pour un 4*. Pain baguette, pain norvégien, quelques viennoiseries, yaourts, fromage, fromage blanc, oeuf brouillé, saucisse, lard, confiture industrielle, jambon, gravelax, oeuf dur, fruits, jus de fruits. Il manque des produits faits maison comme des gâteaux, brioches, un assortiment de charcuterie, des salades de fruits variées .... surtout pour un prix de 23€. La chambre en terrasse n'était pas au château mais nous avions une vue sur la Loire dès que nous arrivions au niveau du restaurant. En point très positif, le personnel de jour comme de nuit, à l'écoute et accueillant.

Good: location overlooking the Loire river Bad: floor carpet is not ideal for this type of property as the grounds are all pebbles with dirt paths. Terrasse rooms are small and look like motel rooms, not a castle rooms. The staff is not friendly and looks condescending. There are no restaurants nearby. We either have dinner at the hotel or travel to Saumur. There are just a few coffee capsules provided, enough for one day. We have to ask for more and we're instructed to pay for these.
