"A good no nonsense place to stay. It has all the necessities you need and a huge amount of choice for breakfast. The gardens around the property are nice and the pool would be a real bonus in the summer. The staff are friendly and the propietor spoke excellent English and was a really helpfull nice chap. I was very glad I found this and would stay again if in the area. I didnt know how to rate the Eco freindlyness as i dont know that, so a mid 3stars. "

"Great ovetnight stop for a motorcycle trip , supermarket 5 mins away , resturant was really nice , bar on site , only thing i would say is no cvtv in car park but bikes were fine as it is in really nice area "

"8 of us stayed at the Chateau for one week. It is a lovely location, with a short drive to Saumur. The house and gardens are lovely, with a homely feel (you feel like you are staying in someone's home - we loved it). The views from the terrace are fantastic. The house is well equipped, with everything we needed in the kitchen, plus a barbecue. There was plenty of space for us all. The host Julie was lovely - she contacted me well before we arrived, and then was in regular communication throughout the week. She met us when we arrived and gave us a detailed tour, including some of the history of the Chateau. We all really enjoyed our stay, and hope to return in the future. "
