“Nice new two unit duplex about 30mins drive to Bar Harbor. Tasteful and comfortable furnishings. AC wall units efficient and quiet. Some wear and tear evident on floors and walls. Linens and towels provided and good quality. Large modern kitchen with many utensils and dishes etc. ”

“I went by this place 5 years ago on another trip and said to myself cool, I’m staying there the next time. I was not disappointed! The breakfast’s were so unique, delicious and Anna serviced them up hot with a smile. Oh people say it’s too far from town, soooo! You just drive down to the visitor center at Hull’s Cove pay to park, it’s good for a week, and take the Island Explorer bus to downtown or other stops. I definitely will stay at Coach Stop Inn again wonderful experience!”

“This was the absolute prefect place to stay. I know the area well and needed a place to stay to overlap when mother-in-laws house was full. This was beyond what I expected. The room was huge with the most comfortable queen beds, and a couch and fridge. Two large windows that you could see the Eggemoggin Reach from and a window on the other side that gave a really nice breeze. They also provide fans if you want to use them. “We drove up from Maryland to view the eclipse. Drove from the property up to Houlton on Tuesday morning for that purpose. Didn't get to hang around the property much because we were on the go constantly, but it was as advertised, comfortable, clean and easy access. The only real negative in my view is the close proximity to the main road.”

“We stayed here as a jumping off point to visit Acadia in the off season. Minutes away from anything you need in Elsworth as well as some good restaurants there. We visited the Schoodic Point and Bar Harbor adjacent sections of the park and the drive was about 40 minutes for both. On our final day, it rained all day and we stayed at the house which was great because it's super comfortable. We especially liked the whirlpool tub and the fireplace that heats both the main room and one of the porches……

Having free access to kayaks and beautiful ponds whenever we wanted is an amazing perk of staying here. Also the hosts are great and helped us out with any questions we had about the area, as well as dusted off some of their old toys for our baby to play with!
