"Rooms updated but not in a classy way. Good fitness facility and great pool areas. Well located. the resort fee was a bit of surprise and $45.00 a day seemed like a lot. Bed was nice. Small fridge in room."

"Very accomdating. We had fresh towel, plates and silverware for our cottage. Literally any request asked and it was fulfilled within 15 minutes. Fun activities onsite. Great for any type of experience...family, honeymoon or a girls trip. Luau was fantastic and the food was plentyful and delicious. Great location. Very happy with our choice to stay here! Would definatley stay again!"

"I was in unit 321 and had a view of the ocean. It was a nice view for a view room. Pros: great location, it is a pretty property right next to the ocean and a 5 mile walking path, next to the marketplace with shops and restaurants, comfortable bed, great amenities that included a microwave, coffee maker, toaster oven, utensils, plates, cups, glasses, mini refrigerator, nice big tv, the room was clean, the staff at the front desk was friendly and helpful. The water may be to rough to swim at that beach but there is a better beach close by that would be good. Cons: the rooms need updating, and maintenance on the paint and bathroom vanity, the lighting is poor, the hand rail on the lanai was thick so I could not see the ocean when I sat outside, "

We weren't disappointed in the home itself, and Anini is just about the most peaceful place I've been, so it was amazing to be back and able to just walk across the street to be in bliss anytime we wanted! "Perfect location to view the ocean and wonderful sunrises! The unit was just as pictured. The kitchen was very well appointed with most everything you would need to prepare meals. Very clean. The bed was comfortable, a bit on the soft side, but very nice. Lots of fun things in the closet-beach towels, tennis racquets, beach chairs, just bring your own sunscreen (reef friendly per Hawaii) and you are set. A few restaurants within walking distance, quite a few are established food trucks. If you want a little more upscale, you will have to drive to those. Grocery store is about a mile away. We were fortunate spy a few whales in the distance - you do need to know what whale activity you're looking for though, and thanks to the binoculars in the unit, we could see a few tail flips. Despite being a private rental, the resort amenities are available to you-pool, tennis courts, putting greens, exercise room and laundry facilities. A convenient change machine near the lobby will get you all the quarters you need to wash and dry. We did have a slight issue with the HVAC system, but the owner and his on-island contact were very prompt, receptive and helpful. All was well. Mahalo! for a really nice stay. "
