「The cabin is as described - although it is a dry cabin, it offered a lot of little amenities that make it a lot nicer. Yes, the bugs are bad - but you have to expect that in Northern MN. The outhouse was a little overwhelming depending on the time of day - not sure if it’s venting as it should, but that was the only thing that was a disappointment. We had a severe thunderstorm roll in over night, and we were certainly happy to be in a cabin. 」

「Property is just as described. We enjoyed the peaceful backyard. The cabin was very clean with a rustic feeling that we enjoyed. No cell service for Verizon made it a true getaway!!」

「This place was everything we were looking for for a quiet get away. We enjoyed everything the hosts offered — pontoon, hot tub, kayaks, small rocky beach for kids to be kids and although we were initially shocked there was only one TV in the whole house, we welcomed it as it forced us to think about not being on electronic devices and to instead do campfires and family board games. We enjoyed every minute!」

「I definitely would recommend staying at this beautiful lake cabin! Owners are friendly, the house and property are clean! Has many amenities for any type of fun. The kids’ favorite part was fishing on the private lake. For mom and dad it was sitting on the dock watching them swim and enjoy the kayaks! We hope to return someday soon…. a little longer tho!」

「Our family had a wonderful trip staying at this large lakeside cabin. We had 7 kids and 4 adults in our group, and we had plenty of room to spread out. It was a quick trip to get to the beach and close enough for us to enjoy all the destinations we had planned. Yes, this is next to a bar, but this didn’t bother our family. It wasn’t too busy when we were there, plus we were able to enjoy the delicious pizza! Darren, the host, was wonderful to work with! Communication was great! In all, we had a...

「It was me and my dog flash, here over a long weekend. I look for properties with not a lot of action going on. I am an introvert and thrive on peace, solitude and tranquility. This place filled those boxes nicely. The Sax-Zim bog is nearby and Duluth is not far either. Birders, a great place to be near the bog!!! The pics are just a couple of the ones I took at Sax-Zim. 」

「We wanted to take a quick weekend trip to Duluth and we found this cabin. We loved it! Our dog came with and made friends with the neighbor’s dog. The lake was beautiful and we loved walking down the gravel street! The owner and maintenance person responded very quickly.」

「The house was perfect. But this lake has no fish in it . We usually end up with loads of fish to take home when on vacation. We had 3 people fishing in our group and they didn’t catch anything. No sunfish, walleyes, grappies, not even a bullhead. 」

「Our family of 4 generations, ages 1 to 83, had a wonderful time at this beautiful cabin on the lake. It was so peaceful and had all the comforts of home. We will definitely be coming back.」
