"Perfect setup for our family of 6. House was very clean and well appointed with a large front and back lawn area and amenities (e.g. hot tub, sauna, beach toys) to make for a great relaxing stay right in the middle of beautiful/quiet Malaekahana Bay. Communication was great with the host - especially through a tsunami scare in the middle of the trip! Would definitely stay again."
"As soon as we booked this property we were asked to move to a different nearby location. The location was perfect for our needs and the accommodations were great. It only took a few minutes to walk to nearby Temple Beach. Foodland is nearby as well as great restaurants and shops in the same location. There was plenty of room for our party of 10. We took advantage of the beach equipment provided and the travel crib. Not much in the way of staples in the pantry, but plenty of dishes, pots pans etc. to make cooking a meal easy. The A/C in each room worked great."
"The facilities were OK and relatively liveable EXCEPT:1. There were flies everywhere in the house. This inconvience was known by the owner because there was a fly stick the size of an empty toilet paper roll about 1 ft. high on the kitchen window counter where ants were continually trailing for food. The set of bifold door windows had a sign that said broken, do not use that had a 1/2 " gap in it in the closed position which allowed flies to enter. I must have killed 250-300 flies--"great way to spend part of our vacation."2. The refrigerator did not have ice cubes OR a freezer which worked. We had to buy bags of ice and not have any frozen foods ready to cook. We brought this to the caretaker's attention next door and he said last time this happened 2 years ago it took 3 months to replace the refrigerator.3. The access to the beach/water was limited and the "path" (if you could call it that)was steep and had trip roots in sections that made it extremely difficult for my wife.4. The neighbor's roosters and chickens woke us up at 5:30 -6:00 every day crowing loudly. I understand Oahu has many chickens, but one morning I observed the neighbor feeding the loud roosters. Evidently they are conditioned to be there loud and early."

"This place was perfect for my family of 4 (parents and 2 kids). It was close to all we wanted to do on North Shore and kept us from having to be in the big city (Waikiki area). The hosts were so friendly and responsive. One of my kids even had an accident in one of the beds and they were kind enough to bring us some new sheets. This place has everything you need and the hosts are so generous to provide beach chairs, umbrellas, boogie boards, a small cooler. They even had snorkel gear, sand toys, and surf boards. My kids loved husking coconuts and eating them fresh too (one of the hosts was on site performing some maintenance when we arrived and showed my boys how to do it). If you are wanting to live like a local and be in the country instead of the city, this is the place for you. We would definitely stay there again. "
"This was an absolutely wonderful experience for my wife and myself. The tents were neat and simple, the restrooms were clean and the location was scenic and serene. I’d leave more stars if I could! Thank you so much to the host."
