Omg the whole experience here was fabulous, Summer and Ebony the 2 female staff were wonderful. Summer would go above and beyond and nothing was too much for her. She had a wonderful sweet funny aura about that was so refreshing. Later we met Kieran the manager he was wonderful so helpful and very funny even though he was unwell with flue nothing was to much. Such a wonderful place to stay, very clean and the food was amazing too. Dog friendly and loads of treats a for the dog available and we even got a doggy pack. The area was wonderful loads to see and lovely walks for the dog. Definitely stay again we can highly recommend. Thank you to all at Fish on the Quay for making our stay so enjoyable and memorable !!

Would highly recommend this property. We were made to feel welcome. The breakfast option is definitely worth it. Hot and cold drink was included. The staff were all lovely, made to feel like a local. The bedrooms are lovely and a bonus waking up to a. I’ve view. Highly recommend, will definitely be back to stay.

Charming old building with cosy rooms. Excellent restaurant downstairs. Nice views of the river and sailboats. Right at the promenade. Access to the rooms through the staff area of the kitchen. Private bathroom was not en-suite.

Lovely Maldon trip.

Had an over-nighter with my old man. Comfy room, aircon, lovely view over the river... Delicious breakfast the following morning. Parking can be a bit iffy, but we found a space nearby... better from October, when all the regulations ease. The bar was well stocked and we had massive dinners! Plenty of shops a short walk away.

When we arrived the staff were welcoming and friendly although booking in system a bit chaotic and we did not receive all information about servicing rooms on daily basis. Ran out of towels, clean crockery, coffees and no hand wash in bathrooms. Bathrooms not very clean and floors decidedly grubby. A real shame as perfect location and very nice staff, maybe management issue! Rod and Sue
