「We arrived too late at night to go snywhere else. The buildings are falling apart, with old broken furniture outside the rooms. Our room had dried blood in the bathroom and on one of the beds. The door kmob was broken so we pushed a chair against it. Someone came knocking on our door looking for someone else. Its more of place that people rent a room monthly than nightly」

「Loved the Robins Nest. Lovely inside and out. The porch was relaxing, Bed (we only slept in the downstairs one) was super comfortable, beautifully decorated, clean, comfortable. We were there to go to Mammoth Cave, and it was about 30 minutes away, so convenient and yet not overrun with other tourists. The neighborhood was peaceful. There are not a lot of food options or even grocery stores nearby, so plan ahead with that. Otherwise, we'd gladly book this again.」

「We loved our time at the Raleigh Retreat. It was quiet and peaceful and perfect! Our Australian friends were enamored with the countryside of KY ... including the bald eagle that perched right in front of them off of the back porch! Their encounters with the local residents and business owners were all helpful, welcoming, warm ... simply charming. They will have lots of wonderful 'country' experiences to share with their friends upon their return to AUS ... which is one of their goals for this...
