WORST EXPERIENCE EVER, I wasn’t accommodated. 1. There was nobody there, the whole place was deserted, simply empty. Windows opened, very dirty and dusty. There was only a phone number at the entrance, which stated call this number to check in. 2. I called the phone number and it appeared as though they weren’t even expecting me because they asked all my details afresh which included the day I booked, and reference number. The call recipient finally found it and said they tried calling me on the day I was to check in to inform me that they had an issue with the room but I doubt this because, I would have seen a missed call or a notification indicating that I was phoned but anyway I didn’t argue. 3. The next thing he said was they were sorry they wouldn’t be able to lodge me and they would give me a full refund. I however, am still expecting my refund, this is exactly one week after. For context, I booked for two nights and had booked about 3 weeks in advance. I had to look for another hotel that night as I had just arrived Manchester from Scotland, really tired and exhausted. They cost me more financially and psychologically. Imagine being stranded in an unfamiliar location with no friends or family to call. It’s the worst experience I’ve ever had with hotels and accommodation.

To talk to staff you have to call a number then text them your booking details and your full name and then wait for them to give you the code to your room, room was not clean for example poo stains in the toilet, dead spider on the wall, wall paper coming off, door handle to bathroom was broken and all the units where falling apart.

I had the worst experience dealing with “The pleasant house”. I travelled all the way from London to Manchester, just for them to tell me at check in they had no rooms available. There were no staff present, just a phone number on the outside door to call. I stayed outside the building for 5 hours trying to book other accommodation. These people also refused to give me a refund, I had to get my bank to do a chargeback, which was successful. Stay away from this hotel at all costs, they are scammers.

No Okay

The surrounding around the room is appalling. Looks like a dead end with plenty dead leaves and a heap sand. If you check in at night you’d be worried sick. No TV or any form of entertainment just crawling insects from the nearby bush

We secured hotel accommodations via Expedia for a concert. The selected hotel, however, did not meet expectations. The property currently resembles a construction site, and the premises are permeated by the odor of cannabis. Contacting the owner for check-in proved difficult. Furthermore, the Inn lacks amenities, including parking and toiletries. The communal washroom facilities are poorly maintained. It is concerning that companies continues to list this establishment.

SCAM

THIS HOTEL IS A SCAM. DO NOT BOOK. A pice of paper on the door with a mobile number to ring for check in that isn’t a real number. Terrible manners when you call OYO company for answers, they tell you it’s your fault
