「Very nice room, bed was a little short for me at over 6 foot tall, but not the end of the world. Staff were very pleasant. Would definitely stay again if I was in the area」

「Second time staying at the Ship and it was once again excellent. Really friendly staff, lovely room with comfortable bed and pillows and the breakfast is superb. Highly recommend」

「Second time I have stayed here, will be coming back again! Room lovely and clean. Breakfast was very nicely cooked and a good sized portion. Staff were very smiley, polite and helpful. They had also made arrangements so I could charge my vehicle too which was a bonus! Many thanks!」

「Very comfortable bed」

「Terrible!!!! My husband and I were bitten by insect bugs!!!! The place has got very old furniture, sticky surfaces, dirty and unpleasant odour!!! The four corners of the room had insects blood stains. Some of the lights were broken, the heated towel rail was not working, the heater was on timer and stopped working, the shower pressure was low!!! The restaurant was shut and not receptionist available after 19:30!!!」

We were woken at 6.45am on a Sunday to the sound of scaffolders and a traffic management company setting up to commence install scaffolding at 7am on the building we are in with no prior communication from the host this would be happening otherwise I wouldn't have booked there. By 8am there was a workman outside my first floor bedroom window so I had...
