Manistee Weekend Getaway with Family

This was a long weekend getaway with my family. The house accommodated three adults perfectly! Location was great! The house was actually bigger than we expected which was awesome and gave us plenty of room to spread out.

This unit is in a great location to support exploring historic and beautiful Manistee on foot. The home is quiet and clean. The attached garage and fenced yard are helpful features for those travelling with dogs. I would definitely stay here again.

This house was perfect for my wife and I and our small dogs. We could walk into town, and it was a short drive to our friends’ cottage. It was very clean and cozy.

This was our 1st time giving VRBO a try. I will never be using a hotel again :). The whole process was very very easy. The property was exactly as pictured. It’s a great location, awesome if you have a pet. Beds are not comfortable, WiFi didn’t work most of the time. It’s not a warm and fuzzy kind of place but very functional and easy to get to and be in.

Maple house

The house is located on what could be busy at times, but it was quiet and pleasant at night. It had a nice enclosed backyard for our dog, but the rain kept us indoors alot. Nice neighborhood and we were four blocks from the Main Street. It was just my wife and I so having just one bathroom was not an issue. Having a mirror in the bedrooms would be nice. Kitchen was well equipped. Overall, the house is older, but many renovations make it a comfortable stay.

Nice rental close to downtown

It was a nice place that was close enough to downtown you could wake up and do a walk on the Riverwalk and check out the shops. It's quiet in Manistee in general, but the area is cozy and works perfect for a quiet beach vacation town.

The property for perfect for us. Everything you needed. Jessica was fast to respond and when we ran into a car issue and needed to stay longer she totally accommodated us with ease making a stressful situation much easier. We will definitely be staying again.

A Lovely Stay

We loved this house because it was clean, simple, and comfortable. The location was also a plus--walking distance to downtown and the beach. I especially like having the garage because we could park our bikes in there and not worry. Our animal friends were completely safe in the fenced-in backyard. If you decide on this location, be on the lookout for deer. We saw a family of deer wander by everyday through the large picture windows. Even though we were on a busy street (for Manistee), those sounds never pierced the inside. Peaceful and beautiful.

The property was fine. We came and the lawn desperately needed mowing. Didnt understand why it wasnt mowed before we got there. Otherwise it was fine.
