"We have never felt so welcomed to a stay before. Upon entering we were welcomed to a clean, well lit and pleasant home. A lovely fall scene with soft music was playing on the tv and a bottle of wine on the counter! We love the amenities for our pets too; and even though this is a pet friendly home we couldn't find one sign of previous fur guests. Michael was a very gracious, kind, and helpful host.....and timely with his communication. I felt like we were VIPs the entire time. Highly recommend!"
Quiet and Comfy 3 bed/2bath - Golf Chalet w/ Loft&Hot tub

"Excellent place to stay in all regards to explore the scenic area full of things to do. We stayed at the property for 6 nights and have only positive things to say ab out our experience. The chalet is situated in a quiet area with low-lighting which is perfect for stargazing. The hot tub was in great condition and worked perfectly. The fire pit was situated closely, but safely, to the home and we used it most nights. The inside of the chalet was stunning, almost all wood, that gave a perfect balance between rustic yet refined. The location is also perfect as it was a 15-to-20-minute drive in any direction to visit something new, Sleeping Bear Dunes, Leland, Glen Arbor, Sutton's Bay, many wineries, cidery, brewery, but most importantly, so many beautiful hiking trails. I never knew how beautiful this area was and intend to come back sometime soon and this chalet was one of the reasons that our trip will be so memorable. Highly recommend!"

"Had all the kitchen items we could possibly need and we enjoyed cooking at the cabin. Place was very clean and had ample towels and paper products. The cabin had privacy and was in a beautiful wooded setting. We had great family time."

"We were 12 guys - 11 over 65 yrs but still juveniles, behaviorally. 10 of us in bunk beds. A little difficult for some to get in, but we knew that going in. We loved the house, and also the backyard and fire pit - heavy usage. Perfectly adequate amount of dishware and utensils. The kitchen fridge struggled, and freezer failed, but there were two more in the garage so we did just fine. These things happen. Our only negative input was the dishwasher. Very difficult and seemingly needs replaced.But, we would come back - and even a good possibility. We’ve been coming up to Michigan for 30 years in the fall and this was one of the best places we’ve stayed!"

"Comfortable beds, clean, and had everything we needed in the kitchen. Bathrooms looked recently updated. Nice central location in the Leelanau Peninsula for exploring around the area. Just be aware water has sulfur, so bring bottled water. There are air filters and sprays to mitigate the odors but might not be enough for someone sensitive."
