「It's OK to stay. Breakfast is good enough. But the back door is not well secured」

「Unbelievable view. I could sit on our balcony forever. The deck outside the bar was even better. Wow. A great place to have a beer or wine.」

「We were able to check in a little early, which we appreciated. The room was a standard hotel room with a wonky sitting area that was too crowded to be comfortable. The breakfast was not great - super small area, out of food, out of coffee, crabby employees trying to get through, no seats available... We were part of a group, and others were given a room where the thermostat didn't work. The hotel knew about it when renting the room, never sent someone to fix it after being informed, and...

「The lakeside fires are really cute. The room was simple but nice.」

「We stayed here just for the sauna. It did not work. There was no thermostat to see what the temperature was. We had to turn it on and wait more than 1 hour for it to get somewhat warm. The breakfast was mediocre. I had a yogurt as nothing else looked good. Our room was nice, so if you just need a room, it was fine.」

「The location was great with a view of the harbor and the lift bridge from the room. It was a short walk across the lift bridge to Canal Park and good food, museums, and shopping. We went to the Great Lakes Aquarium, the William A Irvin ore ship museum and walked along Lake Superior. The buffet breakfast was great and everything was clean. This was a wonderful place to stay.」

「Wish they had an elevator. Room was clean. Hotel was quiet. Convenient location. Conforttable mattress. Nice continental breakfast including hot items. Toilet in the room was very low. Difficult for anyone with mobility issues, tall and elderly. .」

「We were put on the 6th floor. We were in town for a concert and when we returned the elevator was broken. My girlfriend has asthma and I have a bad knee. They gave us a refund and I thought that was cool.」

「Our stay was perfect for what we needed! The check in and out process was simple and fast! The Breakfast was handy! The Staff was great! The pool option was great (hope to utilize next time). I will add that the architecture and layout of the rooms was a bit out of the ordinary. It's a bit hard to explain, but I defiantly got lost at first. However, that would not deter me staying again!」

「This is an old property. Our room AC was loud, the carpets looked tired. Small pie shaped rooms with small bathrooms. I thought the overall stay was fine, the cheaper end of room rates in town. Free coffee available in the lobby and we never went to the restaurant. It is right downtown in Duluth and close to the water. Also no daily maid service.」

「Clean room, comfortable bed, easy check-in and check-out, very nice accommodations, and a unique space which was so nice. I would definitely stay again.」

「The hotel was fine. It was clean and comfortable. The curtain in the bedroom wouldn't close so it was very bright in the room by 5:30 am, the TV was also disconnected in the bedroom and the overhead light in the bedroom didn't work. For $300/night I would have expected more.」
