This beautiful house is clean and comfortable and very well stocked with kitchen utensils, cookware, dishes, flatware, dish soap, hand soaps as well as towels, wash cloths, toilet paper, paper towels, shampoo, conditioner and body wash. High end appliances throughout. No issues with wi-fi for us, solid connection the whole time. The yard is small but the porch with propane grill and beautiful view was a highlight. Umbrella for table and chairs was not there for us, but I am sure if we reached out to the host about this they would have made it right, as communication was good. Location is fairly central to plenty of hiking (lots nearby) and dining options. C D Lane park about 1 mile down the road is an excellent option for sports activities, swimming and even light hiking, there are grills on site as well; could easily make a day of it. Grocery options are limited/far/expensive, best to plan ahead and bring with you if you plan on cooking. Didn't notice on the listing that the fireplace is off limits to guests. Also there are 2 ring cameras, one facing the driveway and one facing the steps to the front entrance; once you are in the house though, it is private. No trash/recycle pick-up, so you have to take it with you or to the transfer station right off Rte 23 in Windham. All that being said, we had an excellent stay and would rent again if we are in the area.Sorry for the long write-up, but we feel the house and stay deserve better reviews than the other 2.
