The Best Place

We have stayed several places in Marathon and this by far has been the best. The house was furnished with everything we needed. The Dock area was great for our 24 ft Bay Boat. The beach area and pool was great for after we got off he boat and for the ones that did not go. This will be the house of we want for each year we come down.

Just ok

Property was not as pictured. Couch in photos was not the same so it cut on spaces to sit. With a house that sleeps that many there should at least have enogh seating. Pool was in very poor condition. Was never cleaned while we were there after multiple requests. Deck had holes all over and rot spots. The picnic table was covered in what looked like vomit when we arrived. Could tell house had been previously flooded and not repaired properly. Rotting wood up door trim. Closet doors missing in one room. You could probably put your hand thru the wall behind the couch, the dry wall was soft to the touch and was crumbling. The dock to the water was also falling apart. You could pick the boards up rt off the deck. The boards would shift after walking back and forth on it so the boards would slide rt out of place. A child could have fallen thru to the water below. Property should not have been rented in this condition. I tried fighting for money back and got a 200$ gift card and my cleaning fee back. If you are older or have small children pool is not going to be fun. There is no steps or ladder to get in. My 5 year old smashed her face off the side of the pool trying to stretch her legs across the gap between the deck and pool.
