Paradise Cove

The pool had some issues, but other than that it was a great place to stay. House was very clean, and in a quiet neighborhood. The outdoor furniture is old and worn, but still comfortable.

Nice house on a canal

House was great, we enjoyed the little pool, canal views and use of the 2 kayaks very much!

Nice kitchen but otherwise the property is pretty beaten up

The inside of the property is in much better shape than the outside areas. The deck canal side is literally rotting underfoot. The covered area is enjoyable but again not in great shape. The yard is covered in weeds and there was dog poop probably from a previous renter. It could be fixed up a bit and be a really great place.

Spacious house

The house was very spacious and loved the kitchen. The master bath doesn’t have a door so it was hard to utilize with other family members. The outside area was not maintained. Very small spa, furniture by water was dry rotted and some of the stones on patio were unstable.

No refund during hurricane storm

The check in time of 5 o’clock is too late in the day. Hurricane was moving in and the winds and rain would not allow us to use the tiki or take out a boat, which was the attraction of the property, on the canal. The pouring rain was pouring in through the roof and into the enclosed patio, so we could not enjoy the property, Or get outside at all. Basically stuck in the house we left after 48 hours. No refund was issued for the days that the schools were closed down and the trash collection was canceled, etc. even though it was not a mandatory evacuation, we only stayed a few days and expected some type of reimbursement or a voucher for future rental and they did not give us one
