「The rooms were very comfortable (best sleep we had on our trip to Costa Rica) and we loved the pool, the beach, the sunsets, and the star gazing at night. We were there with our family. It is a bit remote so good idea to bring games and snacks if traveling with kids. The restaurant on the premise is expensive but serves creative dishes by a Michelin star chef using local ingredients.」

「Extremely secure and secluded. Villa to villa distance is quite far and we could not see or hear anyone else. Grounds are very large, beach is pretty much private but you should know it’s a bit of a walk from some of the villas around to the restaurant and beach. Private pool was very nice and overall good stay. Staff were friendly and helpful and very easy to communicate with, 10/10 for the staff! 」

「This is a great boutique hotel for someone looking for a reclusive and quite stay. It is located in the mountains with gorgeous views. Fyi. The standard room only has one queen size bed. If you're traveling with friends, it is best to book separate rooms unless you want to share a bed. The staff are friendly, helpful and professional. We are so glad to have chosen LADE.」

「Breakfast was good, meals were fine. Pool was clean and no issues getting lounge chairs as most people booked as needed. Liked beach towel exchange service though hours could be a bit longer. Staff friendly. Very safe.」

「A literal gem in Tamarindo! Outstanding view of the ocean, infinity pool and breakfast in the same area. Also I’m writing this after our trip to CR, and I gotta say the only place that served “real” ceviche (real raw fish) is their restaurant. And the olla de res is amazing! Our room had an A/C leak but the maintenance crew came within 5 mins after I called them. 」

「For the money, ESH is a great deal. Very upscale, quiet, and the entire staff will accommodate every need or request at all times. It’s not on the coast, but rather up the hill about 5 minutes from town and the beach. Town is a happening place whereas ESH is simply peaceful. Best of both worlds. 」

「The beaches were unobstructed, the room was very clean, the bathroom and shower were excellent. The views are on unbeatable. The location being close to two beaches was excellent. The morning breakfast was very good as well. The staff was very friendly and helpful. There was no exercise room, which would’ve been nice.」
