Valentine’s 19 guest rooms range from 1-room efficiencies to 3-bedroom homes, all with fully stocked kitchens, charcoal grills and picnic tables. The RV camp has 8 full hookups and a bath house. Valentine is a great choice for any of life’s celebrations, reunions, retreats and company gatherings. It’s also a base for fishing tournaments, a temporary home for Winter Texans, and a guest house for locals.

Golfers choose from eight courses within a half hour drive. The pass-through lake in the Highland Lakes chain is perfect for waterskiing, jet skiing, boating and fishing.
Valentine is in the heart of the Texas Hill Country, where there are festivals and markets year-round. It’s one hour from Austin, two hours from San Antonio and less than four hours from Dallas, Fort Worth and Houston.
Spend the night in a 1964 vintage camper with a fabulous view atop the hill. Unit has running water, a bed, coffee pot and microwave indoors. Step outside to a table, chairs and grill. Bath house with shower, toilet and sink is a short walk away.
