We do allow pets and our cleaner works hard to thoroughly clean but if you have a dog allergy you may not want to book.

You will love that from the living room you see water as if you are in a floating house. Great nights on the wrap around deck in the fenced in yard with a fire or cozy up next to the wood buring fire place-

pool table, Dartboard games

Updates throughout! All new floors, most rooms painted, new double oven, dishwasher.

Enjoy a day in the water, fishing, swimming and enjoying nature. Have a cup of coffee while watching the sun rise on the oversized wrap around deck. Within 15 miles of many wineries and Breweries and 30 minutes to Lake Michigan Beaches. Enjoy the pool table and fire place.
Second Bedroom has Queen size bunk beds great for adults or kids.
There is a seawall that is 24 inches to 40inches that is not safe for small children to be unattended near.


Two kayaks and paddle boat free to use.
Pontoon for rent

Pets are case by case basis please ask first :) This is dog friendly- Please understand we clean as much as we can but it is impossible to get every piece of hair

We had a great stay. The house had a lot of space for us to visit with our family along with a pool table which was a nice bonus. Great views of the lake, and plenty of outdoor gathering spots. Also plenty of activities to do on the water.

We really enjoyed our stay. The host is quite helpful, communicative, and thoughtful. The house is actually a bit bigger than appears in the photos. We rented the pontoon, used the grill, and enjoyed sitting outside. We fished from both the pontoon and the dock. We also tied the provided raft to the pontoon so we could use while swimming in the lake. Our dog loved the stay also!

Great little lake house with all amenities needed! The kids, dogs, and adults all had a blast! The kitchen is well stocked with anything needed to cook while there! The outdoor grill is a nice bonus on the deck as well. Plenty of seating and space to eat outdoors. Game room and living room is also quite spacious and roomy. We rented the boat and really enjoyed exploring the lake throughout the stay. Ryan was professional and attentive, making sure we were good throughout our stay. If you are looking for a quiet, peaceful, and private place to stay this is it!!

We enjoyed taking the pontoon out and swimming in the lake. Cottage was clean and had everything we needed. Ryan was a wonderful, responsive host! The grassy, fenced in area was perfect for our dog. How ugly recommend!recommend!

Our family had an amazing time at the lake house! Ryan’s communication was excellent from the check in process to check out. He was extremely prompt in answering any questions we had. The house was exactly as described. It was clean and met all of our family’s needs. The views were amazing. We highly recommend renting the pontoon boat. Our kids had a blast with the floats and kayaks. Fishing off the pier was great. We would definitely recommend this house to any of our family and friends!

If we could give Ryan a million star review we absolutely would. Not only did Ryan have the most helpful and interactive communication with us, he went above and beyond to ensure that we were taken care of and had the best stay at the lake house. It was such a goregous home with an amazing view. We also opted to pay additionally for the pontoon boat for the week and we are so glad that we did. We went out on the boat every single day. It was one of the very best if not THE best vacation homes that my parents and I have stayed in over the years and even my dad said, "I think this might be our forever vacation home" My parents were thrilled with everything about it. Myself and my husband also enjoyed our stay and we were able to bring our two pups with us. They are basically our babies, and we rarely vacation without them so a major extra bonus that we were able to have them with us! And the house had baby gates already in the house for us to utilize with them so that was amazing. The house was filled with so many amenities that we actually ended up not needing a lot of the things we brought along with us because Ryan already had the home pretty stocked. It was easy to fit right in and feel right at home! We cannot wait to come back next year!

You are right on the water! The lake views are beautiful on the wrap around deck. The kayaks were fun and relaxing to take out and a plethora of tubes and floats to take out. Highly recommend renting the pontoon boat, it was a must! We got to see all of the beautifu lake, nature and eagles flying around. The house was clean and well stocked with spices, pots, pans and cooking utensils. They had some wonderful surprises waiting for us when we got there. Ryan was amazing, attentive and got back to us quickly with any questions or concearns. He really wanted to nake sure we were happy and wanted to make sure we had a wonderful time. We would definitely come back!

We really enjoyed our family trip to Michigan. The location was perfect right on the water with easy access to the pontoon we rented with the house. Plenty of room for my family which includes myself, my husband, and our two teenagers. The beds were comfortable, couch was large and comfy as well. Plenty of entertainment including fishing, darts, a pool table, board games, and puzzles. There were TVs in living room and both bedrooms too. We were also able to bring our 2 dogs with us and there’s a small fenced in grassy area for them to enjoy. Thanks for helping us make some great family memories.

Our family thoroughly enjoyed our short stay on this lovely lake getaway. From the cozy house to the beautiful view overlooking the lake - it was the perfect place to recharge and relax. The highlight for our family was the time we spent in the water or in the pontoon. Ryan (host) was exceedingly responsive and helpful to any questions or needs that we had.

Our stay was wonderful. House was bigger than even the pictures showed. Floated on large rafts provided and kayaked and used paddleboard. Very peaceful and quiet. The pontoon was a great way to see rest of lake and swim. Very enjoyable week. Would stay there again. Ryan was a great host and easy to communicate with!

We planned a getaway to relax with our 2 dogs and this house delivered everything. This house was very clean and is stocked with everything you will need with some unexpected but appreciated surprises! The house is adorable and the deck is amazing!!! The yard was perfect with a well secured privacy fence. There are multiple baby gates provided so we were able to block off the deck steps in a way that our dogs were able to be off leash and enjoy the yard and deck with us. We spent our time relaxing on the deck (it wraps around 3 sides of the house with many comfortable chairs) we did a little fishing and took the paddle boat out during the day and at night we loved the pool table and darts!! Ryan is a great host and responded very quickly to all my questions. We are definitely going to plan another vacation to this beautiful lake house. We highly recommend this home for people and pets!! Thank you Ryan for making this home pet friendly!! ***** 5 STARS

This is the perfect spot to take your family vacation! There is something for everybody! Kayaks, paddle board, paddle boat, splash pads and pontoon boat for outside; pool table, darts and puzzles/games for inside! We’ll stocked kitchen and bathrooms. Laundry available and other surprise amenities from the host! Ryan was a friendly, generous and reliable host! We highly recommend this vacation spot on Big Cedar Lake!

Clean and inviting with wonderful views of the lake. Weather was mostly cool, but we still got out on the lake, and fished almost every day. Played pool and darts. Dog loved the small yard and ability to walk around on the decks without needing to be on leash. Fully stocked kitchen and large grill outside. Host was available but not intrusive. We will definitely stay again.

Me the wife and kid had a blast all week! Ryan was very accommodating. The house had everything we needed. The pictures don't do it justice. Definitely recommend renting the pontoon if possible. We chose this property because it was within two hours for folks coming from two different directions, it being pet friendly and offering access to a boat. We were hoping to spend time fishing, playing games, driving to cities along Lake Michigan and letting the dog play in the lake. The pontoon boat served its purpose - allowed us to fish (although the fishing was generally better just in front of the house). There were just four of us, but if you had a larger family, the indoor dining table wouldn’t have room for everyone (for a meal or for games). The sectional in the living room was huge and comfy. There is a LOT of deck space and seating. The bugs outside were not conducive to spending time outside after dark, but that might just be the time of year. There isn’t much at all in Marcellus, but it’s not too far from wineries and stores in Paw Paw. It was about an hour to South Haven. Ryan was very interested in making sure it was a good trip.

My husband, myself and our two dogs stayed a couple nights. This place was wonderful. The house is right on the lake, we loved the view. Enjoying the fireplace was our favorite part. It was a great place to relax and recharge. Sandy and Ryan were excellent hosts - friendly & courteous. We also appreciated the thought that went into details such as having snacks available upon our arrival. We cannot wait to come back and get on the lake next time.

We loved this place so much I’m already trying to figure out when we can get back here. This place is AMAZING! My husband, two dogs and I stayed here for a week to just get away and unwind. It was cozy and romantic with the fire place and lake views. There are several places set up on the deck to hang out and just enjoy being outside. There’s even beautiful views from the master bedroom, where you have direct access to the back porch. This place is also close to a lot of great hiking. We went every day and didn’t repeat a trail once. We were also close enough to Ann Arbor and Detroit for a day trip. While it was just my husband and I this time I would love to come back with a group of friends. There’s a pool table, kayaks, and you can even rent a pontoon. Ryan (the host) was great too! He made sure we had what we needed and was super responsive whenever I had a question or request. I am definitely saving this place for future trips and would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a beautiful spot to relax or have outside adventures!!!

Wonderful vacation with friends and 2 babies! Could not have asked to be closer to the lake! House was clean and owner provided all information and items needed for our stay. Pontoon rental was an amazing addition, the lake was so calm and a hidden gem. Can’t wait to return next year!

The overall of the house is really good, unfortunately there are a lot of water lily near the house who makes unpleasant to swim near the shore. But the experience in general was amazing.
