“ In the middle of literally nowhere (for me) but so peaceful and serene! I love the history of this monastery. I must say as a solo traveler I was a little nervous at first because it’s very remote. I saw maybe 3 cars in the parking lot and two other guests. But it was safe! Checked in and got a restaurant recommendation for Ristorante Conte Matto, ten minutes away in a small town. “Buitengewoon mooie locatie Volledige privacy maar Castiglion en ander plaatsen zijn dichtbij. Heel fijn en ruim huis met een prachtige zeer goed onderhouden tuin. Het zwembad is niet alleen groot maar wordt ook bijzonder goed schoongehouden. Het contact met de verhuurder Vicenzo is uitstekend. Een absolute aanrader. “There was 7 of us that stayed here at the end of June into July for 10 nights. This is better than the pictures show, the location was fantastic (you will ideally need a car to see Tuscany if not Arezzo train station has good links and is about 15 minute taxi journey away).
